STILES
9AP with concealed intumescent and solid hardwood edges matching (compatible with) the face veneer. Maximum 1/4" hardwood (after trim), with minimum 1-1/16" composition inner stile.
RAILS
Top rail: 9AP composite rails with concealed intumescent and outer band of softwood. Maximum 1/4" optional wood outerband, with a minimum 1-9/16 composition (after trim). Bottom rail: Minimum 2" composition (after trim), no wood allowed. Matching (compatible) top rail available upon request.
BONDED SANDED CORE AND FRAME ASSEMBLY
LD-2 Formaldehyde free Greencor Agfiber core with an average density exceeding 30 lbs. Stiles and rails are securely bonded to the core and sanded as a complete assembly prior to the application of face veneers.
FACES
Architectural Hardwood Veneers (minimum 1/50" veneer before sanding), Medium Density Overlay and Hardboard. Veneers available in a wide variety of species, cuts and assemblies. Customary veneer grading standards meet or exceed WDMA Custom Grade. Note: WDMA Premium, AWI / AWMAC Custom or Premium available upon request.
ADHESIVE
Type 1 PVA waterproof adhesive. (No added formaldehyde)
FACTORY MACHINING/DETAILING
Complete range of machining capabilities and detailing available. Doors must be machined in accordance with Warnock Hersey International, Inc. and National Fire Protection Association Standards, (NFPA 80, latest edition) Lynden Door, lnc. recommends factory prefitting of all fire doors.
LIGHT & LOUVER OPENINGS

BLOCKING
No additional blocking is required for surface mounted hardware. The LD6500 core exceeds the Extra Heavy Duty Level per WDMA I.S. 1A-04 with a TM-I0 I990 Screw holding rating of 638 lbs.
