Rediscovery Collection: "Doors in a Modernist State of Mind".
Drawing heavily from European design, where horizontal or sketchface (opposing) grains are common, Lynden Door has composed a set collection of flush veneer doors. We take direction from the world of architectural doors, but rely on the Lynden Door ability to build to Residential, Commercial and Architectural standards. The result: doors and species that deliver striking appearance in high quality domestic skin configurations.

The "Rhytmus" features horizontal graining on the main body of the door with a 6" vertical portion sketched into the face on the lock stile. Standard in Jatoba (Brazilian Cherry.) Click image to enlarge. Please consult the factory prior to ordering PAIR-MATCHED sets.
Rhytmus is the name of a Piet Mondrian painting. The rectilinear designs of these doors and their European heritage combined to suggest naming the models within the collection after Mondrian works of art. Rhytmus is the artist's version of the German word for rhythym.
Customers seeking the Rhytmus sketchface pattern (a single vertical lock stile segment) can also review our new StileLine model. These popularly priced import veneer doors are available in three pre-set sizes, cuts/species: Quarter Sliced African Mahogany, Plain Sliced White Maple and Rift White Oak. StileLine is offered in standard 6'8", 7'0", 8'0" heights, and in up to 3’0” widths.
"Composition" available in contrasting Maple and Sapele is a modernist look that has appeal in contemporary decors. Click image to enlarge. Please consult the factory prior to ordering PAIR-MATCHED sets.
"Tableau" in horizontal walnut. As in the French word for "living picture", this door's horizontal lines bring the door to life. Click image to enlarge. Please consult the factory prior to ordering PAIR-MATCHED sets.
"Grey Tree" models, shown here in Ebony, feature reconstituted veneers made of species that are abundant, fast-growing and secure. These environmentally preferable natural veneers have been processed and dyed to closely resemble the wood grains of popular species - species, which, in many cases are threatened or excessively expensive. Because the color is produced with a water-based dye, staining the veneers can cause a loss of the grain and/or pattern effect - so recon veneers may be clear finished only. (Some variations can accept light stains, but make sure you test your finishes before applying.) Click image to enlarge.
