APPLICATIONS & BENEFITS

Recommended for a wide range of residential and light commercial applications. The hollow core interior door offers a lightweight option and reduced costs where a light-duty door or bypass door is appropriate. Available in a wide variety of wood species.

Single doors 4'0" x 10'0"
Regular and Double Egress Paired doors 8'0" x 10'0"

DOOR THICKNESS
1 3/8 " and 1 3/4" standard.

STILES
1 3/8" doors: Minimum 1 1/8" (before trim) clear or fingerjoint stiles.
1 3/4" doors: Minimum 1 1/4" (before trim) clear or fingerjoint stiles.
Hardwood outer edges compatible with face veneer available upon request.

RAILS
1 3/8" doors: Minimum 2 1/4" (before trim) mill option fiberboard rails or  2-piece laminated industrial grade particle core. Wood rails available upon request. 1 3/4" doors: Minimum 2 5/8" (before trim) mill option softwood rails.

LOOSE LAY CORE AND FRAME ASSEMBLY
Expanded honeycomb core with 5" cell and 3" particle board lockblocks.

FACES
Pregraded: Premium 2-, 3-, or 4-ply veneered skins (minimum 1/60" veneer before sanding).
Veneers available in a wide variety of species and cuts.

ADHESIVES
Core and frame assembly and veneer application all with Type II water-resistant adhesives.
Type I waterproof adhesive available upon request.

BLOCKING
Special inner blocking options may be specified for hardware reinforcement or light cutouts.

Complete range of machining capabilities and detailing available.
